Statement of faith
As a Christian Church we hold the following as Biblical Truth:Our Core Beliefs
WE BELIEVE in God, the One Triune, personal and living God, eternally co-existing as The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit Creator and Lord of all creations; infinite in being and perfection, a most pure Spirit, invisible, immense, eternal, incomprehensible, Almighty, most wise and most holy; working all things according to the counsel of His own immutable and most righteous will for His own glory; most loving, gracious, merciful, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth: a Rewarder of him that diligently seek Him; and most just and terrible in His judgments, hating all sin and who will by no means clear the guilty. WE BELIEVE in Jesus Christ our Lord, truly God and truly man Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, was buried and on the third day rose from the dead. He ascended into heaven and was seated at the right hand of the Father as our Great High Priest. He is our Mediator, Savior and Redeemer; the only begotten Son of the Father, who was, and is, and is to come, and to whom is given all authority and power, dominion and might, and glory over all things, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. WE BELIEVE in the Holy Spirit, that He is God, our Counselor and Comforter The Executor of the Great Commission, the true Administrator of the Church, and the One who regenerates, seals, indwells, fills and sanctifies every believer unto holiness and brings into remembrance all things in Christ. WE BELIEVE in the Holy Scripture as the Word of God, the complete revelation of His will Written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to be reliable, infallible and inerrant in all that it teaches; that it is God’s all-sufficient standard and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct in His church. WE BELIEVE that man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin and therefore lost all ability to will anything for his salvation That he is totally hopeless and helpless for eternity apart from God’s grace through the all-sufficient, substitutionary death of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. WE BELIEVE in the Eternal Salvation of man as a result of God’s grace alone through faith in and acceptance of Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. WE BELIEVE in the visible church composed of persons who through their saving faith in Jesus Christ and the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit are united in the body of Christ of which He is the Head. The church is visible in local congregations where worship is central to her existence, the Word of God is preached in its purity, and Sacraments are administered in their sanctity, where loving fellowship is maintained, and the Gospel is proclaimed to all. For her perfecting, she awaits the return of her Lord. WE BELIEVE in the blessed hope that Jesus Christ will come again to earth personally, visibly, and bodily; to judge the living and the dead – the righteous to eternal life and the unrighteous to eternal punishment in the lake of fire To consummate history and the eternal plan of God; and to set up His Kingdom in a new heaven and new earth forever and ever. WE BELIEVE in the invisible Universal Church, consisting of all believers who are united in Christ by faith The priesthood of believers, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
